Answers - Does that require a special pulley set or does it use the stock pulley/belt? - Yes and No, it needs a special crank pulley (pictured) and dry sump pulley (provided), water and powersteering pulleys are still stock.Yes is going into the Silver Race Z, unlikely to put one into the Red Race Z as it needs to stay within the classic racing rules. Capacity - This will depend on what size external tank is used, but due to having an air/oil seperator you can get away with a smaller external tank. I will be choosing a tank shortly that will fit in the car and let you guys know. Probably a 2 gallon pederson tank. So you get standard capacity of the stock sump about a gallon, plus the oil lines probably another gallon or two and also the 2 gallon tank so around 4-5 gallons (20-25 litres, so roughly four times the capacity of stock). Yes Pump does take place of the A/C Compressor. But the big advantage is the whole thing is under vacuum so no more oil starvation issues and creating better ring seal creates more Horsepower sometimes up to 50 more. Final Costs not yet in but approx US$5,000 to 6,000 including the custom made ATI damper. Note I have selected a 5 stage pump with air/oil seperator which is bit more expensive, but this gives 3 suctions, 1 supply and we are also using one pump to suck the oil from the turbos, like they did on IMSA 300ZX. Feel free to ask more questions and I will do my best to answer them and hopefully will fit over the next few months with lots of photos.
